Building More Than a Mosque
To meet the needs of Regina’s growing Muslim population, IAOS Regina is building As-Salam Mosque & Community Centre — a 20,700 sq. ft. purpose-built facility designed to accommodate approximately 1,000 worshippers.
The centre will include a library, Imam’s and administrative offices, a board room, kitchen and food court, children’s gym, and a multi-purpose hall.
This project will especially benefit our youth and families while creating a permanent home for worship, education, charity, and community service.

Major Milestones:
Most of our heavy HVAC and plumbing piping is officially finished. The sprinkler system in the Men’s Prayer Hall is also fully installed, and the west-side exterior wall is beautifully stuccoed. * Starting Next Week (Insha’Allah): Get ready to see a lot of interior progress! Steel framing, insulation, drywall, and electrical fixture installations are all scheduled to kick off. * Behind the Scenes: The team is busy reviewing new driveway and parking layouts, finalizing the dome details, and looking into smart, budget-friendly alternatives for the internal glass partitions to keep our costs down.
